What is it like? What's to do? Where do we go?

What is a Typical Charter Day Like?

What is a Typical Charter Day Like?

What is a Typical Charter Day Like?

That all depends on you and what you want to do and you don't have to decide before you arrive.   Plans can change daily based on what you find you are enjoying the most while you're here!

If we have a long sail, say to Anegada, we will leave by 7 AM, but a normal start is somewhere around 9am.  (Remember, it's island time!)

Typically, we will sail first to a swim/snorkel spot and then onto a lunch stop.  Sometimes we can get in two stops before lunch.   Lunches can either be prepared aboard or if you prefer to go ashore, that is usually an option, too.

Happy hours start at 4 most places, and we aim to be tied up to a mooring ball at that night's island of choice by 4:30 at the latest.  Most folks choose to go ashore and visit on the island a bit before heading back to the boat to cook up their supper (if they haven't chosen to sample the local fare ashore!)

Remember, though, it's your trip and it's up to you how you want your day to unfold!

What Will We Be Able to Do?

SAIL in the CARIBBEAN!!  Seriously, y'all, this area is known as a sailor's paradise for good reason!

You'll be able to visit a different island (or two) every day if you like.   In our opinion, there is no better way to travel between these beautiful islands!

We have a Yamaha Explorer Sea Scooter that is a lot of fun!

We have a 2 person kayak and a stand up paddleboard for those wanting exercise or an escape!

We have noodles and various rings and things to sit and float in.

We have adult snorkel gear on the boat, but feel free to bring your own if you want.  We do not have children's snorkel gear, so do bring right-sized equipment for children who will enjoy snorkeling.

We can help you to arrange dive gear should you have the dive bug.

We also have two inflatable hammock loungers that can be used for floating or beach lounging.

How Do We Go From The Boat to Shore?

We have a dinghy with engine for transport to and from the shore.  At many of our stops, you'll need to plan on wet feet getting into and out of the dinghy at the shoreline.

You're welcome to swim also.  Many of the places we overnight, we will be able to catch a mooring ball pretty close to the shoreline.   If you're an early riser, a swim into shore and a walk along the beach is not a bad way to start the day!
